The first (of two) exhibitions in July has the title Colourful, and it will definitely live up to its name. It opens on 2nd July and then is open Tues-Sat until 18th – so for this one we are open Tuesday and Wednesday (days we are usually closed).
We will be showing work by Aish Magesh, Amy Kennedy-George, Andy Willett, Brian Dickinson, Carol Wheeler, Debra Wenlock, Ed Creyton, Eric Gaskell, Gemma Whitford, Glynis Hayward-Bradley. Jan Clark, John Thompson, Kaiyi Gu, Kerrie Suteu, Mohini Mistry (Mjay), Nathan Gregg, Sandra Gibson, Sarais Crawshaw, Stephen Baker, Steve Davies, Sue Byrne, Tamsen Flack and Zeki Aslan. Four of these artists have never shown work at the Alex before. Five of them (Aish, Debra, Sarais, Stephen and Steve) will be making work under a time limit across the evening of Saturday 4th July – our last event during the Love Rugby Festival.
