If you picked up a Love Rugby brochure of visited us between 20 June – 4 July you will know that we were offering quite a few funded demonstrations/activities for Rugby Borough Council, some chess on the side (run by Rugby Chess Club) and we also ran two exhibitions and a wonderful extra evening event. This picture of Sarais Crawshaw (who won 1st prize in the summer showdown event) really captures the joyfulness of artists demonstrating their work to the public to show Art in Action.
Look at the video to catch all the things we were involved in from the first watercolour and line workshop based on a scene from the town centre, to the dispensing of jelly babies to runners in the 5KM fun run as they passed the Alex. Next year we hope to run Warwickshire Open Studios (rather differently) as well as taking part in Love Rugby.
