Botanical Printmaking workshop

Tamsen Flack has attacted a lot of attention with her botanical printmaking here at the Alex during the Ten Women Hanging by a Thread exhibition in March. She now has set a date for the first of her workshops of 2026 and you can find details about it on her Facebook page.

al Printmaking workshop taught by Tamsen Flack at the Alex.

We are making workshops here easier to find by using an Online Booking site (Ticket Tailor) which allows you to book places and pay, or add yourself to wait lists when the workshop is already full. (As we often have only six people in a workshop this happens quicker than you might think).

Note that this workshop is on a Sunday and its at 2025 prices (£55 for six hours) and its aimed at people with some experience of Botanical printmaking (but contact Tamsen if that is not you as she will have beginners courses later in the year – September – and can help you get up to speed for this one if needed.

This workshop is on during the week that the Midland Potter Association are showing work in the Pavilion and Garden (they last did this two years ago). Which is a lovely juxtaposition as Tamsen is also a ceramict and was one of the exhibitors with the MPA when they were last here. Hence her artist name of @ceramicsnsilks
